The No More Deportations campaign was initiated by the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee (MIRAc) in November 2010. The campaign seeks to prevent the “Secure Communities” program from being implemented in Minnesota, and seeks to remove the “Criminal Alien Program” from Minnesota. These two programs are largely responsible for the sharp increase in deportations in recent years.
